Terms & Conditions.
These terms and conditions govern participation in the British Wedding Film Festival Awards (“The Awards”). By submitting an entry, you agree to abide by these rules and conditions. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

Eligibility
The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and older.
Entrants must be professional wedding filmmakers, content creators, or teams producing wedding films.
Wedding Film editors cannot enter a film on behalf of the main business, individual, or team that filmed and own the footage.
Submissions must meet the eligibility criteria outlined on the Eligibility Criteria page.
Submission Rules
All entries must be submitted through the official entry portal by the stated deadline.
Each entry must include the required information, including:
Title of the film.
Link to the submitted work ( Vimeo, YouTube).
Only original works created by the entrant(s) are eligible. By submitting, you confirm that you own all necessary rights, including music licenses and permissions from individuals featured in the film.
Entrants may submit multiple entries, but each entry must be submitted separately and require an additional entry fee.
Entry Fees
All entry fees are non-refundable. Fees must be paid at the time of submission to complete your entry.
Judging Process
The Awards will be judged by an independent panel of industry professionals, as outlined on the Judges page.
Entries are not anonymised during the round of judging.
Judges’ decisions are final, and no appeals regarding results will be entertained
Conduct Policy
Entrants and participants are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism and respect throughout the competition and after results are announced.
The British Wedding Film Festival uphold the highest standards of professionalism and respect. Any form of abuse, defamation, or personal attacks directed at the judging panel or organisers, including social media or in-person at the Festival, will not be tolerated.
The Awards reserve the right to take appropriate action, including disqualifying individuals or teams, from current or future participation, if such behaviour occurs
Use of Submitted Material
By entering, you grant the British Wedding Film Festival the right to use submitted films for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and event presentations.
Full credit will always be given to the filmmaker(s).
Submitted films will not be shared or distributed outside of the online channels owned by the British Wedding Film Festival without prior permission.
Prizes
Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
The Awards reserve the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
Disqualification
The following may result in disqualification:
Failure to comply with any of these Terms & Conditions.
Submitting work that is incomplete, plagiarized, or otherwise violates copyright or intellectual property laws.
Providing false or misleading information during submission.
Disrespect or abuse towards the judging panel and organisers
Privacy Policy
Any personal data collected will be used solely for the administration of the British Wedding Film Festival and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Liability
The Awards are not responsible for technical issues, submission errors, or delays caused by third-party services.
By entering, you agree to release the British Wedding Film Festival from any liability relating to claims arising from your participation.
Amendments
The British Wedding Film Festival reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Entrants will be notified of significant changes via email or the official website.
